WARRANTY & RETURNS POLICY

This Warranty & Returns Policy applies to all gaming controllers, custom-built controllers, accessories, and related products (“Products”) sold by Wicked Labs AU through wickedlabsau.com.au.
This policy operates in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
1. STANDARD WARRANTY COVERAGE
1-Year Limited Warranty
All Wicked Labs AU products include a standard 1-year limited warranty from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Installation or workmanship faults
- Hardware failures under normal residential use
If a covered fault is confirmed within the warranty period, Wicked Labs AU will repair or replace the Product at our discretion.
2. OPTIONAL EXTENDED WARRANTY
An optional extended warranty may be purchased at checkout, increasing total coverage to 2 years from delivery.
- Must be purchased at checkout
- Covers the same faults as the standard warranty
- Does not restart or extend after repair
- Is non-refundable once activated
Extended warranty coverage is tied to the original Product and purchaser.
3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Stick drift caused by prolonged use
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, fading, dents)
- Damage caused by drops, impact, misuse, or abuse
- Liquid or moisture damage
- Power surge or incorrect charging damage
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications
- Commercial or excessive use
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
4. RETURNS POLICY
No Change-of-Mind Returns
Wicked Labs AU does not accept change-of-mind returns, including:
- Ordering the wrong model or configuration
- Deciding you no longer want the Product
- Preference changes after ordering
This applies to both custom-built and prebuilt controllers.
Custom Controllers
- Built to order
- Cannot be cancelled once production begins
- Not eligible for return unless faulty under ACL
Prebuilt Controllers
- Not eligible for change-of-mind return
- Eligible for return only if faulty or not as described
5. FAULTY PRODUCTS & ACL RIGHTS
If a Product is faulty, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on whether the issue is considered a minor or major failure under Australian Consumer Law.
We assess all claims fairly and in accordance with the ACL.
6. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
Step 1 – Contact Support
Email support@wickedlabsau.com.au within the warranty period and include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos or video evidence (if applicable)
Step 2 – Assessment
We may request troubleshooting steps or additional information.
If the claim is approved, return instructions will be provided.
Do not send products without approval. Unauthorised returns may be rejected.
Step 3 – Repair or Replacement
- Products must be returned using tracked shipping
- If the fault is confirmed, return shipping may be covered
- Replacements may be new or refurbished
- If unavailable, a product of equal or greater value may be supplied
7. WARRANTY ON REPAIRS
Any repaired or replaced Product is covered for the remaining balance of the original warranty period, or 30 days, whichever is longer.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wicked Labs AU is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of data, profits, or personal information
- Damage caused by misuse or unauthorised modification
This does not limit rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
9. GOVERNING LAW
This policy is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
